  1. What the progressives are practicing is Saint-Simonianism on steroids. It's the belief that they are better than everyone else, and that intellectuals and the wealthy elite should run the government, with no say from the public. Their worst flaw is liberal universalism, where they push their so-called world liberal society, regardless of culture, upon every nation-state in the world, and at the end of a gun barrel. They are the progressive left and right behind the liberal international order. They are behind the push for "world capitalism," endless wars, open borders, and the globalist/green movement. Those of us that are realists do not believe in this ideology.
