Unfortunately, higher ed has brainwashed the last two generations into a Malthusian ideology where they think that humanity is the culprit of every bad thing, and that it must be drastically reduced. That is, after all, what the very founders of this CC movement, led by Alexander King back in 1968, thought, and it has increased every year since in higher ed.
