This is what leads to the ghettoization. Take it from a Yank that has studied the history of immigration in the US. Most never fully assimilate, and they form ghettos. There is only one ethnicity that did after the late 1800s, but it wasn't the original immigrants, themselves, it was their children, who even went so far as to change their names. I won't state which ethnicity it was, but you can probably guess.
