There was an article published not long ago at Reason dot com, about the protests now breaking out in Columbia, and the author nailed it, when he labeled it the "rent-seeker's rebellion." They're grifters, looking to profit and exploit without contributing anything to society in return. Race, climate change, equity, etc, are all tools that they're using to do it. In reality, they're all looking for a handout for nothing, and will exploit anything to achieve their goals.
Worse, these methods were developed by some within the psychiatric profession, especially by the likes of George Brock Chisholm MD, who was the first director of the WHO. He stated that his profession wished to destroy the idea of right and wrong, and break the "moral chains," which he claimed started all wars. In fact, national economic policies, competition for resources, exploitation, and expansionism are what start wars. Morals stand in the way of the exploitation, etc.

Some want to bring down the corporation, by taxing, micromanaging, and regulating it to death in a centralized, or partially-centralized system, (for the greater good, of course), while others want completely unbridled, and unregulated "cowboy" capitalism spread as "free trade" around the globe. Neither works, and there has to be a balance. As George Washington once stated, and I'm paraphrasing, the government needs to stay out of the economy as much as possible, and only use a slight hand to coax it along, while still protecting the nation and public.
