  1. Criminals have always been able to obtain weapons, even if they were banned. Criminals care nothing for the BATFE, nor the Federal Government's laws, so, if they want a firearm, they can come up with one. Where do drug cartels obtain full-auto machine pistols such as the MAC-10 and Uzi? Firearms laws only hurt legal owners who have them for protection. Only criminals would love to see them taken away from law-abiding citizens so they can't be used against them.
