Of course, she would say that, but it's according to what branch of Christianity she means. My best guess is, that she is a follower of Christian Socialism, which has been a scourge in the US since the late 19th century that has caused nothing but turmoil and conflict over introducing European socialist ideas to this nation.

@bl8danjil It started in Boston with the Anglicans, and spread to NYC, where it was first introduced into post-secondary education by the Anglicans at Columbia U. There are several articles about how it formed in England, and came here. Some Catholics support a similar version and political movement, the DSA. There was also Christian Communism as well.
