  1. Britain was a latecomer to the triangular trade and legalized slavery, even in the colonies, until the Casor case in 1655. After that, people wanted it banned. No, the triangular trade, and the invention of the plantation, was the deed of the Portuguese, and the RCC allowed it, so it wasn't all Christians that were against it.
