  1. Take this from a Yank. Quit allowing the word, racist, to affect you so. Let them sling their insults, and apply their labels all they want. Ignore them, as that takes away their power over you. Lawrence should have never replied to their slurs, which was what they wanted, and just laughed at them. Take their power away, and watch them melt down. You're dealing with narcissists, and their worse fear is to be ignored.
