  1. One has to remember, that Dan was already an actor, (so was Tom Felton), and was good at it. That was not his first rodeo. I would have liked to see the others who read for the roll.

  3. ***** Not necessarily corruption, since Daniel was an experienced child actor, and was the main star as young "David Copperfield". He still read for the role of Harry, but he was the better actor over having experience, and having knowledge of the film industry. Maggie Smith, (Minerva McGonagall), was also in David Copperfield, if I recall. Tom Felton read for the role of Draco Malfoy, and I think, Harry too. It helped that he also had previous acting experience in "The Borrowers", where he acted with Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley), and Jim Broadbent (Horace Slughorn).
