It all boils down to the ancient three estates and the Aryan's claim to wealth and rule. They controlled the religion, the land, the money, and the government. The third estate was seen as chattel and sheep, to use as the landed (the Baal - landlord) saw fit. The first and second estates saw themselves as the shepherds and cattle herders.
This same ruling elite class kept control for thousands of years until the rebellions in Bohemia and Poland, where Socinianism started. However, it was a radical approach, where they wanted to revert the world back to the time of Eden, and where they claimed that there was no law. They (radical Hussites) were called Edenists, and later, Socialists.
The enlightenment came from this, as well as the Glorius Revolution, then the American Revolution. Both were a good thing, but neither was as radicalized as what was to come in France. The French Revolution set up the divide for the far-left, and to counter that, a far-right. Also, the same socialist power elite took control of Socialism in secondary education before Hegel. Here, it changed from wanting no law at all, to demand a big brother government that would force radical socialism and a redistribution of wealth on the public. In reality, it was the power elite reasserting their control. The French Revolution, the German Union, and the later creation of Communism and National Socialism was the result.
When the far left or right complain about the founders and framers of the US as well as the Constitution and try to destroy the Republic, they expose themselves and show what they truly are. They're radical socialists, and believe it or not, Edenism is still alive and well, today. The founders and framers were much smarter than the credit they're given, as they foresaw what was to come.
