  1. It's weird. He is open to join himself but posses the nations joining. If he is in the alliance why would it be bad others joined? I think that's a hint that he isn't fully sincere.

  3.  BrokenSociety966  while there is no rules in the allience to handle a nato member attacking another one, I think the other nations would come to agreement very quickly to all root against the aggressor with no exceptions. The major issue is if Russia joined the allience before other eastern states they would veto them joining. So ideally they would have joined alongside Ukraine in the good time line where Russia became democratic instead of fascist.
