And casually missing the mark on his analysis, because he is too theory brained and assumes the US administration are rational actors, when they clearly aren't "logically it makes no sense for US to leave NATO" So? It also wasn't logical to leave the WHO or close USAID, yet they did. International rules and boundaries only have power in so far that countries respect them. If the US leaves NATO, there will be diplomatic consequences, but it isn't impossible.

Also shows the fact that Russia was only apart of what made the soviet union strong. So many talented designers, engineers and scientists that weren't Russia.

Greenland is very left even by Danish standards. If you look at the first draft of a constitution they've made, they have LGBT and women's rights much stronger inshrined into it. Very modern overall. Its not official or law they ofc, but their intensions makes the danish constitution looks like a dusty book found in a trash bin, where human rights are not gaurenteed, and politicians like Morten Messerschmidt, Mikkel Bjørn and Inger Stljberg work daily to promote fascism in the danish parliment, remove protections against racism, and make LGBT people marginalized further. Heck we even had a "equality" minister say pride was stupid. The equality ministerium is fake anyway and holds no power, as the title is just carelessly swapped from government person to person, never being held singular by someone. Greenland politics makes Denmark look for right honestly.

It's built on the neoliberal idiocy of believing societies can never backslide away from democracy.

Yea, like it's so dumb of analysis. It's like talking to a CEO of a company that about to go bankrupt that has to keep the facade that everything is fine. William litterally breaking his rule of "listen to what leaders do, not what they say" whatever Rutte says is completly meaningless, he holds no sway or leverage over trump or the administration

They are not immune to propaganda. But France has done a lot of the work for Russia, by being so hate able that Russia appears like a better choice for the average Joe. Of course Russia is bad in all it's own ways, but France does the most colonialism of all the old European powers, and that creates a lot of spite across the globe

Huge population and disregard for soldiers and quantity over quality. Russias love for weak offensives goes far back in their culture.
6
@hugoguerreiro1078 really sad that many isrealis vote for fascists

This channel only exists because his kids don't wanna listen to his rambles or humor 😂

Isreal is pure evil, calling UN aid workers for terrorists and members of Hamas to justify killing them. Absolutely insane.
5
you assume the IDF is 100% rational. As a terrorist organization, counterforce and nuclear wouldn't be the only targets, civilians and other terrorbombings is very likely, like they've done for a year now in Gaza and have begun doing in Lebanon
5
Economics students get very mad at you calling it black magic, because many of them incorrectly believe economics is a hard science like physics with formulas for everything 😂
3
russia let the attack happen, there is no way any intelegence agency is incompetent enough to stop the terrorists when the us provided intel and they had 13 days to do something
3
@scytheoflife1947 yes it expects countries to stay democratic but never considers nor has any clauses to handle when countries fall into fascism, like has happened with turkey and Hungary. That is a failure. There needs to be harsh punishments for democratic backsliding to ensure it is never worth it for a country to elect idiotic strongmen
2
Strategic military situation causes tension, yes, but the isreali government's goal of finishing their genocide is the biggest factor
2
If only NATO engaged that no fly zone
1
William may talk about evil dictators but his biggest enemy is pixelated and low resolution logos
1
It will go wrong because we already see the far right ministers quitting their job now in protest. A significant portion if the isreali parliament won't be satisfied until the genocide (and yes they openly talk about exterminating vermin) is complete. As long as there is people in power who wants nothing less than the entire civilian population to be killed off, then any cease fire deal is shaky. Thata why even when the last, it will only take a decade or two before isreal starts another war so it can continue its genocidal ambitions, that was at its core ideology when it stole the land and founded the nation on blood and deportations after WW2

Mark Rutte stuttering that much for that question doesn't inspire a lot of confidence lol

The start of NATO's downfall was when article 5 was abused and incorrectly invoked in the illegal invasion of afghanistan. A terror attack by a non-state actor should not invoke article 5 at all, not that NATO members can't help out in such a crisis, but NATO showed the world that Article 5 was not well defined and up to a ton of interpretation, leading to the crisis today. We have the founding members to blame for how shit written the articles are. There is a critical lack of legalese in the document. There should be clear examples of what consistutes and attack in bullet points under article 5, and it should be clear so that the detterence is non argueable. This could also properly defend against hybrid warfare. If there were text about "attacks on infastructure by civilian actors on behalf of a state, should invoke mutual defence to the extend needed without escelation. For example sabotage or attacks on oil infastructure should have member states provide economic and military support to protect the infastructure and diplomatically members should make a common front of denouncing the nation at fault." Not an amazing example ofc, but if NATO had any proper meat to their laws and rules, we wouldn't be in this mess

They are late to colonialism, but they have decent succes, with Wagner owning and operating multiple slave gold mines and rare resources.
1
Even if hamas gave up completely and surrendered, isreal still want to finish their genocide. If they only cared about hamas they wouldn't constantly kill majority civilians and children
1
10:35 why did you record it with an interlaced video recorder??

Battlefield wise, very different, yes, but USA could never win in Afghanistan because you need to win a war on ideology against terrorists, you can't just win it on the battlefield like when you fight another nation. Isreal can never convince Palestinian civilians to be on their side when they keep murdering their children. Isreal can occupy Gaza and run it like a prison like they've done in the past, but they will never win just from fighting. The closest isreal came to winning against Hamas was in the 90's when the peace process was promising. But far right fascist isreali decided to assassinate the prime minister of isreal, ending that plan, and netenyahu taking power and Hamas' ideology winning ground ever since. From 3% of gazans supporting to many more today. You give up on the fight for ideology, you give up winning the war.

If the turkey dislike the PKK so much they could try for once in their nations history to stop genociding the kurds. If kurds had equal rights they wouldn't want independence to the same degree they do now.
1
Fascism is destructive, and the US used to be isolationist, avoiding to join WW1 and WW2 until they had no choice.
1
Stain murdered so many civilians and soldiers during WW2 from his terrible strategy and planning, so he can't complain much with a problem he directly caused
1
Nato only let's in democracy yet neither turkey or Hungary are proper democracies. Biggest downside of nato is that there isn't any article for kicking a member out, nor proper explanation of what happens when a nato meme er attacks another nato memember. The treaty really was built on the myth "end of history". The lie that all societies eventually becomes democracies and that societies can never backslide.

The flaw with the median voter theory is that it doesn't account for voters staying at home. 50% of voters don't vote in the presidential. If your party is too moderate and not populist enough, you won't get the voters on the fringes and who feel no pokicy represent them to vote. This is what happened in 2024, both parties lost votes but democrats lost so many that they lost. Voters didn't go to Trump, many just stayed at home.

Male life expentancy in Russia is insane

Prosperity Garden still sounds better than Prosperity Guardian

@kevinlove4356 Boomer acting ignorant. Typical Boomer stuff
1
@scytheoflife1947 yea I guess proto-fascism is a better word, but Orban is fully on the fascism ideological train when it comes to believing in white genocide, Jewish control of the world and so on.

10:58 not always. Greece and Turkey Joined despite Cyprus being divided and never settled since then.
1
I wish I didn't live in this horrible world, but my best guess is that isreal wiln eventually resort to genocide.
1
Inuit people in greenland also have brown skin, so Trump and Americans in general won't give them equal rights because they see them as subhuman. Even the danish are super racist against them, with multiple small attempts of genocide over the centuries, so americans won't be any better.
1
It's sad that one of Merkel's legacies will be supporting Putler and evil imperialism, and keeping Germany polluting instead of turning to green energy. She could have made Germany energy independent, but no, getting gas from a fascist aggresive country was mor profitable even though green energy is 5x cheaper now to build and aquire
