  1. Adding more LEDs in the backlight but running them at a lower voltage could both lower power and increase brightness. Likewise you left a lot of effeciency on the table by not removing more layers from the bottom LCD, for example the matt screen coating only adds to the layers light needs to pass through and it is only neccesary on the top level panel. Also instead of the depolarizing filter, couldnt i be possible to just turn one of the panels upside down compared to the other and making the image correctly oriented in software, or would it still be polarized in the same way?
