Public services are bled dry by microsoft fees even though most dont need the new updates of features that office gives, and now dystopian leaders in the regional and local governments want to use AI to fix all out problems Is denmark going to built a state owned super computer? no too expensive IS the government going to train their own models and hire programmers? no too expensive Are they going to ask consent from every citizen to use their data? no too complicated Are they going to waste billions to pay microsoft for a useless copilot subscription, and give citizens personal data for free to microsoft? Abseloutly Will it be cheaper than the options outlined above? Quite the opposite.

It's just capitalism and neo-fuedalism in play. YouTube could have hundreds of competitors and the same problems would still happen, because we are tied to the digital land, we can't migrate our accounts and content across platforms. Competition fixes nothing, just like no liberal philosopher back in the day advocated for capitalism without regulations and rules.
