Why do they even have both RPM and flatpak? The RPM is always better as long as you got the codecs installed on the system and it takes up way less files size

That's 99% of backend software. Being a programmer doesnt require you to learn or use social skills often, so ofc many of them are completly inept

From software is like the game of thrones of videogames. GoT had the best actors, musicians and cgi artists in the world, but the worst writers. From soft has the best level designers, writers, and artists in the world, but the worst engineers and engine programmers. None of their games are properly vsynced and frame paced on all consoles btw. All their games have judder

Don't blame you for being new to steam input, but you can disable individual haptics in the global/menu based profile in the controller settings. Then go into the settings for the triggers and disable haptics. The steam deck is an evolved version of the steam controller and they have the best input software as you can fine tune everything to your liking. For example I use the haptics for gyro controls to let me know when I tilt the controller all the way in a car game. But yes there is the global switch for haptics, but what you're looking for is adjusng the menu/desktop profile

nothing is more painful than a flatpak app not using your cursor theme

Let's hope the EU regulates chrome out of it's entire marketshare.

Being trandphobic in a niche linux community is so ironic and close to self hatred. Brother you dont find a higher concentration of trans people per capita than you do in linux communities.

Even then you can always use a distro that has an installer and desktop enviroment, but otherwise is just normal arch

I get the feeling the industry standard open source boot software will be named Bootlicker

@WyvernDotRed yea if you need correcting, your footage is bad. Running the shutter at 1/50 or 1/60 to avoid flicker is good enough as you get nice motion blur there but without being too heavy like at 1/30.

Leah gave herself DID through delusions of grandour making niche software

@Son0fBeelzebub Bro you're a nazi with anime girl hiding in the swastika argueing with another nazi/fascist who supports russias invasion of ukraine and stans for the illegimate donetks people's republic. You're both insane and I guess it's a warning sign not to get too into these linux communities when there are people like you festering around here.

Good video, but it would be nice to show an example of an AUR that was malicious, and also show an AUR package that was unstable or didn't work correctly, as that is probably the most likely risk to encounter

No GUI = Won't be useful or replacing anything for majority of users

@potatoes5829 it is, an it's videography 101. If you don't know this you're going to get flicker from ceiling lights as they often use PVM at 60 hz or 50 hz in Europe.

Ain't no Windows user switching to Open Fucking SUSE lmao

Leah is faster at writing anime villain monologues than she is coding

"Why is most of the hardware supported old thinkbook laptops?"

Most of windows 10 users are from china, especially net cafes. And now with cyber warfare and trade tensions, china will likely push people to a chinese made/approved linux distro for gamers to use in the future so they can avoid paying microsoft
