This is trash tier comedy, no punchlines and just rambling with pseudo interlectual terms that are misused (like how he still doesn't get what post-modernism is)

One of the 1% female viewers of this channel, damn. Rare find.

Life is suffering, but that doesn't mean you have to accept it. Life can always be improved, and minimizing suffering is a noble goal. But JP rather get addicted to drugs and go in a chemical coma before he admits to improving life or society
2
How is it brilliant? It's full of jargon and is ont large strawman. Progressives dont talk about individuals, they talk about systems. JP Can't make a counter arguement when he strawmans and responds to non-existant arguements he had in the shower
2
@inanjarif1388 some progressives suggest affirmative action, but increased protections for minorities and laws punishing hate crime and discrimination would be a huge step forward alone. Again, when you're used to privlege like yourself, any move towards equality will feel like oppression to you
2
@NicolasConnault it's hard to argue against the premise when it's based on a strawman. First of all, yes the pride flag is for everyone who doesn't fit in the cishet norms of society. There are a lot of identities there, from gay people to intersex people. But secondly all his religious dogma at the end is just for him to make the point of "don't complain about suffering, don't try to improve the world." Considering he got a drug addiction after this and was put into a chemically induced coma, he has suffered a lot. But wouldn't he want a world where he wouldn't have to suffer like this? The premise is stupid" don't try to improve society" is his main ideology. And it's a really stupid one. Technology and better living standards today only came about from the struggles done in the past. And gay and trans people still don't have equal rights with hate crimes being so common. Of course we need to fight and change society, when people like JP advocate and inspire violence against us.
1
@NicolasConnault but when has someone improved themselves enough? He ridicules the entire LGBT movement in this rant and implies they are dumb for wanting to improve society. Self improvement can only go so far, but he also strawman and assumes they only talk about individuals. They don't. Progressives always critisize systems and systemic issues.
1
@NicolasConnault also wanting to improve society and fix oppressive systems is the opposite of victimhood. It takes a ton of strenght to fight for what's right, unlike Peterson who fights for the status quo which is the easiest choice.
1
@NicolasConnault you don't live in reality or you don't care about data "when you are not" LGBT people are, empirically, oppressed. Most places they can't get married, in the USA some states ban them from existing at schools (Florida) hate crimes are high (there was a mass shooting at a queer night club recently) mental health is worse, we have less accès to médical care ans get discriminated against by doctors, especially for trans people. I can go on and on, find studies and statestics that show we are not equal. The young adult is being lead down a path where they will protest and help fix these evil systems so that generations after them don't have to suffer the same way. That's positive. Also depression has never been cured by saying "stop being depressed" as you imply. I know it's hard to be a cishet white man like yourself, who is privileged in every area. Maybe your family is rich too, in which case all of society has been sculpted to fit you and push down others. Equality feels like oppression when you're used to privlege. But it's not. It's just evening the playing field.
1
@NicolasConnault hahahaha again you don't live in reality. You can't respond or argue with my points because data is on my side. But yes, you're extremely privileged. I face bigotry every day from the likes of you, and then you telling me "it doesn't exist, you're equal in society, stop being a victim" is about the most bigoted and homophobic thing you can say to anybody Your parents should be very dissapointed in you that you have become such a rude asshole into adulthood
1
@NicolasConnault I can see on your YouTube channel that you have children. Are you going to tell them to shut up if they come out as gay? If one of them gets depressed, are you going to tell them to get their shit together and you won't take them to therapy? If you bring out this bigoted logic to your own kids, not just strangers on the Internet, you will be a terrible father full stop.
1
@NicolasConnault well I'm right about all my assumptions. You're male, born male, and you're straight. So yes I am right in the fact you're not oppressed like an LGBT person would be. You've never faced bigotry, hate or discrimination like they have.
1
@NicolasConnault trans people commit suicide because of transphobes like you making their life living hell. This question has been settled for years by scientists. When your kid comes out as trans you'll abuse them and deny them their identity, does worsening their mental health. Most trans people die because of hate from their family. Again you're a terrible and abusing father once any of your kids come out as LGBT
1
@NicolasConnault yea you've showed a lot of bigotry. Denying my experince Lying that LGBT people aren't oprpresed while you sit in a chair of privlege. Blaming trans people for their bad mental health and ignoring the hate they get. You have been very bigoted, and your ideology itself is Anti-LGBT when you have to deny systemic issues.
1
@NicolasConnault My god how bad faith do you have to be. Read your own comments lmao. Again you call it victimhood when i point out that we critique systems, that is litterally denying the oppression LGBT people face I know you're privleged because you haven't denied any of the CORRECT assumptions I amde about. That you're cis, white, straight and a man. Compared to an LGBT person you are privleged because you do not face the oppression they face. You blame trans people for their depression byt mentioning their suicide numbers and questioning if it's all oppressions fault they are that high. But bigotry is the biggest factor in their poor mental health, not that they are trans. Scientists have known this forever now and only conservatives deny this fact.

@@dazedd3570 "Dae no one can have it bad with iPhone lol" the troglodyte said with his 2 brain cells concentrating to form the dumbest comment on YouTube today
1
Yea they cry alone with no one to help Loneliness and mental health only get worse when you don't spoeak up or try to improve the world around you
1
Least fragile cis man in the comments
1
So most ajrgon and rambling all to make the point that intersectionality is dumb because there is too much nuance/catagories and the strawman that progressives only focus on oppression on an individual level when they do the exact opposite and talk about systems and make systemic critiques.
1
@keemstarkreamstar7069 I mean he can't critique it when he can't understand the concept. Just like he always strawman what post modernism is.
1
@keemstarkreamstar7069 I mean Jordan Peterson is a post-modernist himself. Karl Marx was a modernist, along with other philosophers at the time. It has nothing to do with leftism, it's simply the philosophical idea that society and history is cyclical or that you can predict what will happen. Like Marx predicting society will have revolutions and that eventually capitalism will collapse under its own contradictions. Post modernists like Karl Popper critisize this notion, and states you can't view history as pattern or cycles and you can't predict the future like that. But anyone who believes in the "good times make weak men" nonsense is a modernist, even if a shallow and not very smart one.
1
@keemstarkreamstar7069 yea because the degrees to which Jordan Peterson talks about post modernism is all incorrect and invalid, because his understanding and definition of post modernism is wrong. Post modernism as I said is a response to modernism, and the philosophers vary a lot and its a broad catagory, but the common theme is the rejection of cyclical views of society and history. That's it. LGBT, gender studies, critical race theory, all this stuff that Peterson hates with a passion has nothing to do with post modernism
1
@inanjarif1388 lmao you contradict yourself in the first sentence. Yes if people are not equal in reality, then the system is wrong. Law is only one thing, saying everyone is equal, but when judges are biased and give higher sentences to men and people or colour, or when bigotry exists so commonly that no trans person can live a life without threats, harrashment or violence, then the systems in the culture are broken
1
@sheiken9754 Yea, you being a fan of JP grew you into a red flag for women to avoid on dates
1
@peacemaker6662 Your daughters rolled their eyes at you because you told them "hey btw i follow this deeply bigoted philosopher." Of course they have a bad reaction when JP is so anti feministic and against women's rights
1
@Vi.luc5 Yes, not all women, you, 1 person, can break the norm. Lovecraft made books that didn't bring his bigotry out much. Jordan Peterson is a political commentator and open anti-feminist who lambasts many feminist notions, has said and stands by men and women not being able to be in the same workplace, because men are tempted by makeup to sexually assault women, and it's the woman's fault if she dresses in a "slutty" way. Jordan Petersons anti-feminism is as much a core part of his brand as Lovecraft had deep sea ocean monsters as his brand. He is also appeals to masculine and traditional ideals that mostly men find appealing. This means a lot of women find him and his fans repulsive. There are female fans of him of course, but looking at the gender in the stats of who watch him those fans are the outlier, not the norm.
1
@peacemaker6662 what is an old Boomer like you doing on YouTube?
1
@peacemaker6662 well I can ridicule your old age when you bring the patronising "oh you will believe this dumb bullshit once you get older" Young people are progressive and we can see they stick with it with age.
1
One long jargon rant ending with religious fallacies. Not very interlectual.
