Most European countries that use the metric system use , instead of a . for decimal, and we use . for 3 digit mark instead of , So it's basically switched. However for big numbers like the 8000 kg it could pull, don't bother with marking it, most people are able to distinguish it being 8 thousand, so you can save the hassle of the symbols used by avoiding them :P
