  1. NO. There is no proper way. there are many ways to be a man. And there are many types of men in this world. Saying there is a proper way to be something you insult everyone who doesn't fit into those catagories. And for gods sake, men are over simplified in movies as macho action heroes and not much else. Having amotions as a man is not weakness and the sooner we stop belittling others for what a real man is, the more likely we are to create better man overall when they dont face all this stigma.   2. It's based on a scientific theory on wolves. In captivity they show that one male dominates. But in the wild its false. Wolves work together. Same with humans. The scientist who made the original study tried to stop the alpha and beta bullshit from spreading but failed. Now toxic males everywhere use it to boost their idiotic ego. Working together and showing empathy is what humans are made to do. A Sigma male being a loner is idoitc, you should be independent but we all need social groups.
