Building more houses will never ever fix the housing crisis. It will slow price rises but it doesn't fix the root problem. Evidence:
London has some of the highest property prices, but other English cities also have shit house prices that never stop rising, despite all those cities not lacking housing at all.
The only real solution is to decomodify the housing market.
Private firms building apartment buildings should be illegal, all apartment should be social housing, where profits aren't the goal. This will allow rent control and we'll as rent being mvh cheaper when the top 1% isn't stealing people's salary through rent, but rent actually goes to maintenance and such.
This will keep house prices down and the properties that aren't rented. When rent is super cheap, you have to sell your house for cheaper to compete..
A free house market will only lead to ruin, we knew it in the middle aged with the nobility, the industrial age with landlords, and today with conglomerates buying up land and siphoning wealth.
Land belongs to the people, not to corporations. Landlords are universally hated, and you only solve the housing crisis by destroying landlords as a social class

The worst example I encountered is when I worked in a restaurant with a psychotic boss. He was never in the restaurant, instead managing other businesses (he is one of those, used to be poor, now rich and flaunts it everywhere types). He would hire his own teenage son that no one in the restaurant liked, worked slow, was arrogant, sexist and homophobic constantly. But he was secured that job because his father owned the place. Meanwhile the hardest working waitress got fired after working there 4 years. She took less breaks than the other and always gave it her all, yet she was fired out of the blue. The boss prefered to hire high school graduates who took a gap year, keep them for a year ish, then hire new people to keep wages down. Of course the restaurant never did as well as it could if he kept the skilled workers instead.
The only thing that made job place decent was his wife who was the waiter manager and a waitress herself. She was super sweet and encouraging to everyone, but you never know you did bad in the eyes of the psychopath until 2 months later when 3rd of your salary is illegally missing.

Some notes:
1 the red bloc includes the green party, Alternativet, why not have them in the graphic lol?
2 Great coverage of the mink scandal, you covered it better than most danes short term memory
3 the mink industry is beginning to reopen
4 They aren't called the social liberals, they are called radikale venstre. (radical left) stop misappropiating our names into english versions that no one uses
5 the reason the blue bloc lost is because of infighting. You mentioned lars løkke a former Venstre leader, but also inger støjbjerg who was a big name in venstre before she was sentenced with 2 months of prison/house arrest after abusing her minister powers to illegally seperate immigrant couples and later kicked out of parlament, she, like Lars løkke, formed her own populist party, appealing to rural areas and stealing votes from venstre. Moderaterne also took many votes from venstre. So they went backwards almost 50%. That combined with the conservative party running for stateminister challenging venstre weakened the blue blocs chances. The conservative leader, søren pape, also made racist comments about greenland, refusing to apologize and when he finally did apologize it was a weak half assed apology, done in a TV debate, used rethorically to make Mette Frederiksen apologies for the mink scandal. His party looked to become huge in the polls, instead he lost 2 seats.
The future is unsure, wether it will be a broad government or a left wing one. Most parties want multiple parties in government this time, compared to last election.
(also yes, racism is normalized in our country's politics, so if you wonder why so many scandals are about it, then its par the course for Denmark.)

They are overpriced, and the raytrace gimmick is not even worth it. The 2080ti cant even get 60 FPS at 1080p in tomb raider. And that's only the shadows!!! This is supposed to be the fastest GPU on the planet, yet it gets less frames than a midrange 1060, all because of Ray tracing shadows. No one will sacrifice high framerate or resolution that their monitor supports for one graphics setting
Nvidia also tricked people. The """Starting at"""" prices are not going to happen in atleast 6 months, the 2080ti is 1200 dollars, not 1000, and so on. the 21 games they showed to support RTX, only 11 have Raytracing, because apparently RTX includes the DLSS support too, so 10 games just have that not ray tracing so even fewer games support them. The name changing is a nice twist of yours. If a 2080 is as powerful or more than a 1080ti that makes sense, just like every other generation, but not when the price increases by 30% compared to the last 80 card, that's what you need to understand.
And we know the performance, people could play some of the game at gamescom, some even enabled an FPS counter confirming tomb raider get's 45 FPS in tomb raider in 1080p with a 2080ti. I dont care how impressive ray tracing is, the performance hit is not worth. No games have every ray trace feature as well (Shadows, reflections and global illumination) probably because the games would run below the 22 FPS shown in the star wars demo due to games having much more complex scenes. The tech is impressive, the performance is not, and the price premium is not worth it for RTX. I think it's really disrespectful of you to think the anger is silly when the pricecreep of these cards are insane

@johntom5049 - Well thank you for complimenting my language4. No worries, I appreciate that you're more good faith than I assumed byt apoligizing here.
"not thinking it would can only come from someone who's not familiar with the field, anyone who has studied economics would know it to be true, it's a know common fact. Also it's simple mathematical logic,"
More posturing, your only arguement here is the mathmatical one. If you want workers to work more hours, pay them to work more hours or structure their work week differently. No one should be required to work in their sparetime, and no work should go unpaid.
Slavery is also more productive and earns more money, but we don't practice it because it's morally wrong and inhumane. Similarly, disrupting people's lives by not allowing them to be off work when they aren't working is also bad. The economic aspect is very minor in my opinion compared to the human aspect.
Most econemies became better ones unions arose and workers gained more rights. After the industrialization, producitivty might have been higher because people worked 12 hours a day and children worked in factories, but all that wealth only went to the mega rich. Worker rights also came with redistributing wealth and it's why we in europe, and especially my country of Denmark, have such good public services.
good physical and metnal healtha re important for a productive workforce in any country. The right to go offline is important for mental health. It can also be related ot the studies in 4 day work weeks, that show people have a net increase in productivity when they aren't overworked, crunch leads very often to worse outcomes and poorer performance.
You can talk about math as much as you want, but you can enever erase the psychological or sociological factors in how humans operate. We aren't machines. More working hours doesn't always give the same increase in productivity.
Portugal is doing well compared to it's past self. It is a country witha different history and predispositions than asutralia so it can't be compared one to one. But it is moving in the right direction and has implemented many smart policy changes.
Denmark used to be a back alley farm land with no economy to speak of, now we are one of the strongest econmies in europe relatively to our size, only because of the important work socialists have done in the past century and beyond. Portugal might be on a similar path if it keeps implmenting smart policies.

@newtonia-uo4889 you're nitpicking specifics I mention saying it's more complicated so I posture to show that I know that and more policy changes are needed. Founders of a company holds sway, but when we look at mega corps like Amazon or Microsoft, those founders and CEO's don't really make up the foundation of the company anymore. The workers and engineers and programmers do. And while there can still be a leader, they should be democratically elected like a president of a country.
Stocks are not democratic nor are they for the common man. Most stocks bought and sold are by big hedge fund companies that don't give a shot about anything besides making money. And individuals investing might believe in a good cause of a company, ultimately large majority also only just want to turn a profit. This creates a toxic hype based culture where actual growth and value a company makes doesn't matter. Snap hat doesn't make a profit but it's stocks still skyrocket. Companies can destroy the planet, enslave populations and hire mercenaries to kill union leaders, and stocks are still bought because it's all about profit, not morals, values or bettering human society.
Bitcoin and crypto currency is the logical extension of this. Entirely hype based. Kills the climate with wasted electricity and overproduction of gpus that get dumped into landfills when obsolete. All for greed and getting profit for investment.
The entire capitalistic model is fundamentally broken at its core, and it's unsustainable in these large global markets. It's incapable of solving the crisis we currently face, and a change in systems is needed.

I love how this event proves AI is a bubble and investors are braindead in multiple ways.
Besides what you said in the video, its ironic nvidia lost value when
1. Deepseek was trained and made using Nvidia GPU's
2. Nvidia has long exported GPU's to China, often making D models of their cards meant for China, with Western components removed to avoid sanctions, and slightly cut down so they can have a higher supply (3090D, 4090D)
3. nvidia also floods China with supply before any big trade related tarrifs or regulations hit, to make as much bank as possible
3. Unofficially nvidia also smuggles a shit ton of GPUs to China despite of tarrifs through third parties and AiB's. Hong Kong is one of nvidia's biggest markets, not because they use the GPU's, but because musk men sells the cards into mainland China.
Displace and Chinese AI makes money for nvidia, but investors dump their stock not because they actually care about profits, but because its all hype and hot air. If it looks bad, it must be bad.

AztecaYT Why do you think? Use your head.Nvidia is super close to 7nm which is why this gen doesnt seem to be a big jump in performance outside of raytracing. the 12nm node is limited, it's not possible to get higher clocks than those they have etc. The next gen will probably come soon in a year or maybe even less, that's what every tech tuber and analyst are saying, since 7nm is right around the corner and it makes sense for nvidia to have a trump card incase amd comes out with great value cards.
Because it only survives for 1 year, there is no room to release a titan first and then a ti like before. heck before the titan card released later than the 80 card and the 80ti card even later than that. but that's pretty hard to do and sell fi you are going to come out with some new cards a week later with much better performance to price. Also note, that the whole "The names just got switched" makes no sense. The 980 was a few percent faster than the 780ti, so was the 970 compared to the 780 and so on. yet the 980 cost around the same as the 780. So basically you got more performance for the same price. That's how it has always been yet with this gen it looks like we get more performance, yes, but the price is increased almost 1:1 for the performance increase, meaning that there is not much value in these cards.
That's why the 10 series cards are going to be even better value when more used ones appear, it's why nvidia and amd and so on always have to give more performance for mostly the same price becuase they have to be more valueable than last gen, but people are angry because the price increase for each tier are so insane. There is no way 2070 is going to start at $500, just like the 2080ti is $1200 not $1000 and the 2080 is also higher compared to the 1080 too

@shangtsung1362 The court cases are public, trumps legal team has lost almost all, currently they are 1-50 or so.
There isn't thousands of witnesses, most affedavits (a testimony saying you'll witness in court) they have, has backed out because they can't lie under oath in the courtroom, but the legal team lies and spreads conspiracies in press briefings because that isn't illegal. An affidavit is not the same as a witness or evidence, because everyone can make an affidavit and lie or make unsubstantiated claims.
The trump lawyers are abseloutly incompetent (the fact they disowned Sydney Powel, one of the main members of the team, should tell you enough about their incompetence), listen to the recordings, when asked if there is evidence of fraud, they say no, because you have to provide substantial amount of evidence that a these few mistakes or anecdotes they show, are somehow a symptom of a large conspiracy, something that's completly baseless which is why the judges dismiss most of their cases. Trump appointed judges many of them, don't say dumb stuff that the judges are in a conspiracy too or only democrat.
Across multiple states it's the same patterns of abseloute failure and lies, it's the weakest coup attempt in all of human histyory what the trump campaign is attempting to do (atleast other fascist are more competent). American democracy is working as it always has, and where voter disenfrancisement exists, most laws are because of republicans wanting to suppress minority votes. But that is attempts to make it harder to vote (make mail in difficult etc) not actually throwing votes out.
(for example, florida updated their laws after the election where Bush Jr. became president, because it came down to a few hundred votes and it took forever to count and recount because they were not allowed to precount mail in votes. Now they are, hence it only took a few hours after election night to tally all the votes. Meanwhile pensylvania took forever because they have outdated laws that say they aren't allowed to count votes until election night. These laws have existed forever and isn't something Biden or anyone has made just for this election or have used for a conspiracy.)
So it's factually and objectivly incorrect that there is any large scale fraud, but even in the case that there is, what would it change? Trump needs millions of votes, needs multiple states to turn over to his majority, that's so extreme. If it was 500 votes tipping the scale, sure maybe you could fraud with that, but no, Trump is extremly unpopular and lost the popular vote by a huge margin. The American public hates him and wants him gone.
I recommend LegalEagle's breakdown on some of the cases. He is an actual lawyer and can explain why these cases are so fucking embarrasing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-nblE8ps2M

@vitoanania6042 Allowing asylum seekers to become a part of society leads to less crime and more tax incomes.
It is a crazy fascist thing, because your idea of control, leads to human smuggling and people staying off the grid, working illegally and not paying taxes to survive. because racists like you want to send them back to war and death
The nordics approach didn't fail, racist political parties just got more votes over time as people living in the country side who never met immigrants in their life started to get more and more scared due to them being racist and afraid of other cultures. the media kept blowing up problems with immigration despite 98% of immigrants working normal jobs or studying and being normal citizens. They kept focusing on niche crimes, even as crime has been declining over the past decades. And if you want to reduce crime further, number one factor is reducing poverty.
Our previous policy worked better, but we stopped because a big percentage of the population is too irrational and emotional, ignoring facts and focusing on the same myths as fascist regimes did in the past. Nazi Germany used the same exact arugements against jews as you're using now. It's why we call you fascistic, and Italy's president is litterally a fascist, as her brothers of italy party is the direct descendent of mussolini's fascist party.

Because like 100 years ago, fascism is on the rise. The economic insecurity leads racist populist to soar in popularity, as the age old "it's immigrants fault" never fails to sell, despite the systemic problems of society and economy being far more complex than that. Like the 1920's, these parties will erode democracy, and in some places, completely destroy it (like Orban in Hungary is close to doing) on the milder end, they'll just make it impossible for minorities to vote, something "centrist" parties support them in doing
1 remove voting rights for non-native population (most of Europe already has this in full effect, with almost impossible to gain citizenship)
2 remove trans rights and make them miserable and slowly cull them from the population
3 remove family rights from homlsexuals
4 remove abortion rights and push men and women into outdated and traditional gender norms. The women won't vote anymore if all the welfare and kindergarten are closed, and the women are forced to take care of the kids 24/7

@JHeb_ first of, it's not a problem. Not an identity problem. Kids discover their gender very early because the world, culture and parents around them non-stop express normative gendered expectation s of boys and girls. So a kid very quickly figures out if they fit their assigned box or not.
But again being trans isn't an illness and it's not a problem in need or curing. Until you change your view of that it will always lead to treating trans people differently than cis ones
But social transition simply means changing name and pronoun and acting/dressing how you like. Boys can wear dresses and girls can wear pants, but some kids want to choose their name and pronoun and so fine let them. Litterally zero harm is done by this and if makes them happy, do it.
The effect of home one blockers is what the trans person wants. It's a feature nota bug 🙄 the whole point is to prevent the going through the wrong puberty. Trans people are more happy if they get the correct puberty for their gender, as their body will better go norm to it.
Bullying a general issue, but bullies always target minorities harder. Because they learn from their bigoted parents that some people deserve less respect.
Hormone blockers have been used since the 80's and are safe. Cis kids get them forcibly without question if they start puberty too early for example. But when someone wants them VOLUNTARY the state presses with its laws.
Search for Florida and their anti trans laws in recent years. But most importantly listen to governor Ron Desantis and his speeches on trans issues. He wants to make being trans ILLEGAL, even for adults. He wants to rid Florida of the "Trans menace". He also calls all LGBT demons and paints them as pure pedophilic evil.
Genocide isn't just durectly killing a group of people (although trans people die every day due to hate crimes) but tis also the erasure and oppression of a people and culture. Making being trans illegal will lead to the death of trans people. Their current oppression already causes them mental health issues, with florifas laws, more will kill themselves.
Likewise the newest laws they are pushing is making it illegal for parents to help their kids transition and they want to forcibly removing trans kids from their families (also falls under genocide according to UN, like what putin did to Ukraine kids)
A law passed a year or more ago also allows teachers to forcibly undress kids and look at their genitals to check if they are trans. If they are trans other kids' parents are allowed to request their kid away (direct discrimination, trans kid not allowed in class)
Also last year they passed the "don't say gay" bill, that bans any talk of LGBT or relationships or gender queer topics in school. This is like Hitler banning the talking of Jewish holidays or traditions. It's insane. Teachers can't even mention they are married or they risk being fined, fired or jailed.

@brendanblack8647 dude most people game with a 1060 GPU. even more play on a laptop. You are the 1% of gamers and you have to stop acting like everyone has the budget, or is willing to spend as much money as you. For most people getting good enough graphics and performance is enough. That's why 1000 USD desktops are the ones mostly built, and even more people have rigs below that, nearing console levels of pricing. The 8700k is the very high end. Yes it was top selling a month ago and so, before they increased the price by 70%, but on all the other 4 spots on the top 5 on Amazon were Ryzen. A lot of people don't want to buy the 8700k now that it's overpriced, and the same with 9900k. Intel can't produce enough chips, they are trying to get 10 nm going, which takes production away from 14 nm, and mobile phones are having higher and higher demand, which Intel is also making chips for. I'm not coming up with any excuses, this is how the market is now and yes they will still sell, but Intel is on a slippery slope, because they increase prices over time, while it should be the opposite (for example Ryzen price falls over time especially when the new gen is about to release.)
Intel is dominating the sheep mentality right now, but at some point people will realize they are utter idiots for paying almost twice as much for a CPU, only for 15% more performance, as is the case for the 2700x vs 9900K, and that's not even factoring in the fact Intel motherboards are more expensive and you need to buy an aftermarket cooler as well.

"I dispute the term "far Right" says the person leading the political party on the furthest right of the political spectrum in france, with no other parties of the right of her. Abseloute idiocy. If your policies are the most right wing in the political landscape, youa re far right. The fact that she plays defense and says its only for radical and fringe groups, is such a weak admission of defeat, she openly admits that far right = nazism/fascism/extremism and that the term is toxic, instead of trying to, as most people on the right, reform the word and make its meaning less harsh. But the stigma is there for a reason, we all know in europe what happened when the far right gains power. In spain, in germany. 100 years ago, similar extreme nationalistic movements appeared and it was disasterous for the whole world.

7:17 EU made simple is racist confirmed
Military shouldn't guard the borders of a landlocked country in the open Schengen area.
Rejecting all asylum seekers is against international law, human rights and just pure Hitler level policy
Freeze family unification is pure evil, Lucifer would be proud.
Syrians shouldn't return home, Syria is still unsafe with conflicts and factions in an uneasy balance right now, oh and isreal is currently at war with Syria annexing territory, it's not safe to return, likely won't be for a long time
Deporting violent criminals is a dog whistle, because he means deporting brown skinned violent criminals. This goes against the rule of law and that everyone is equal under the law. Even if he also wants to deport Dutch white violent criminals, where to? It's impractical, a waste of money, and doesn't solve the problem of violent crime, never has worked never will. It will lead to concentration camp and further genocidal like policies later, like when the social democrats made the first centers for Jewish refugees in the Weimar republic in the 1920's
So what fucking policy do you agree with the fascist party about? Please elaborate, because the PVV only speaks ultra extreme anti democratic nonsense, and agreeing to any of it is extremely suspicious and harms your integrity as someone who we hope has a decent moral compass.

@Censored_Truth_Addict Yes, racism in Danish politics, especially against people from greenland, is very normalized. The fact Søren Pape defended his racist remarks and never did a proper apology, and when he attempted one, he used it as a stunt on national TV against Mette Frederiksen shows that while taboo, its not really punished enough. No person in this country should be able to hold the racist opinions he holds if racism wasn't normalized to some extent.
Likewise all the hate against muslims in the country, and the fact we break UN human rights law, by discriminating against people of colour in certain neighbourhoods. We also try to copy the english Illegal Rwanda deportation policy, and the socdems and everyone right of them fully endorses it. So when over 50% of the electorate votes for and supports such blantant racism and human rights violations, then racism is quite normalized here.

@sheriffcupcake6054 That's not how any of this works lmao
Those politicians are utterly braindead, but I'd love to see them sign out of the UN and walk back the countless human rights treaties your country has ratified lmao.
And no, you litterally don't know anything about asylum. Cases can be rejected, but the law states that everyone has a right to a fair asylum trail to have their circumstance looked at. Likewise they'd naturally spread out if everyone didn't break international law, because there would be good chances in most european nations, but right now they congegrate on the border because there is a lack of working together to distribute the people and workforce properly, again, because of racism. Not a majority, but a large sum, of european politcians nationally and in the EU parlament simply just hate muslims. They each ahve their copium reasons of why, but they view them as lesser human beings, and it's what leads to all these problems.

Deporting violent criminals is also too extreme
Because it goes against the rule of law
Everyone in a country should be equal under the law, it's the foundation of any modern state
If you start to throw people out if their skin colour is different, you no longer have true rule of law, you have apartheid type laws.
If he wants to kick out white Dutch criminals too, fair, at least that's consistent, but we all know he wants to kick brown people put.
The problem is with fascist like him, they will make many things illegal and make sure that poor people and people of colour are more likely to be labeled criminals, so they are easier to kick out
When they are too difficult to kick out because it's practically impossible to do mass deportations, the concentration camps starts, sorry "asylum centers"
That's what happened in Germany, that's what is happening in the USA right now as I type this.
Deportation of violent criminals is the first step to crossing the Rubicon river, and genocide always lies on the end of the crossing, the fascist will always lead you down that path.
They came for violent people and you didn't care because you werent violent.
They came for the Muslims but you didn't care because you weren't Muslim
They came for the socialists but you didn't care because you weren't socialist.
But when they came for you, there was no one there to help
Don't let fascism win, don't give an inch, don't EVER normalize any of their policies. Everything the PVV says is too extreme

There needs to be specific cards only used for mining, and yes then it's harder for the average Joe to mine, but it is already difficult to do when people but so many in bulk. Fuck ethereum and their lock on specific cards only for mining. All these currency LOST their idea and original purpose. It's not for the people, it's not to replace normal currency, it's just another stupid investment gamble, like stocks and onions in the Netherlands in the 1600, not a single fucking person cares about the original idea anymore. It's stupid, and it's just to make money from speculation, all the while making the market worse for everyone else. I respect that you don't mine, Jay, because the whole thing is stupid.
