  32.  @titusmccarthy  You are incorrect. Overall fires have been decreasing compared to the past. Huge uncontrollable fire. Now at least we have equipment, trained crews, communication & fuel to operate. Also Parks Canada have recently reduced their prescribed burns (to prevent fire) from 20-25 burns a year to 8. Parks Canada is obviously federal.
