@titusmccarthy You are incorrect. Overall fires have been decreasing compared to the past. Huge uncontrollable fire. Now at least we have equipment, trained crews, communication & fuel to operate. Also Parks Canada have recently reduced their prescribed burns (to prevent fire) from 20-25 burns a year to 8. Parks Canada is obviously federal.

@titusmccarthy Better forest management is what I would do. Creating jobs. Use our cold weather to our advantage for controlled burns. Then buy more equipment & stage it in problem areas. It's not rocket science.

@pluto8404 Forest fires in North America have burned for thousands & thousands of years. They will always happen. The difference now is there are people & property in the way.

@titusmccarthy I will tell you what I would do. Better forest management. Hire & train more people. Increase pay as an incentive. Decrease unemployment. Use our cold weather to burn undergrowth safely. Create better buffer zones around towns near huge forests. Create fire breaks. And instead of wasting billions like liberals do I'd buy lots of equipment & stage it in problem areas. I would basically do a better job than the liberals you boot lick.

The federal government will ignore their failure in forest management, ignore 7 years of warnings & use climate change to scare people & to increase taxes putting more Canadians into poverty. And for some reason you cheer them on all over YouTube. I shake my head.
