@tidbit1877 Every piece of food is harvested & transported by machinery, farm equipment, trucks, planes & trains. Multiple times. Every item you purchase from blue jeans to apples has multiple layers of 2 carbon taxes now.

@tidbit1877 Wrong. The governments own budget office dispelled that myth. No, most Canadians do not get back more than they pay in carbon taxes. And it’s only getting worse. Your information is about 6 months too old. Edit: And it is 2 carbon taxes. The 2nd being the Clean Fuel Standard just implemented. For which there is no refund.

@tidbit1877 It’s a tax. It increases the cost of fuel. Which increases our cost. Which thusly increases GST. Increasing prices overall. And I see you omitted you were wrong about carbon tax refunds. Just skipped that eh? Ok then.
