@Hyperpandas We can’t get very good federal numbers, but BC has some. $2 Billion collected from carbon tax in 2021. $174 rebate once a year per adult. 4 million adults. = $700 million paid out. $2 Billion collected. ‘Mostly’ kept by the government. 👌🏻

@Hyperpandas The Canadian federal government in documents state the carbon tax rebates were lower than what was estimated & what the public was told. Which dropped the rebate amount below the increased costs amount. Meaning…the government is making money. But you get back more than you pay right? Lol. Ok then. All the best.

If you think the few hundred bucks they give you compares to everything you purchase all year long being more expensive then what can I say. Generations of your family are already in debt before they are even born. And it’s getting worse.
