@tonespeaks Our federal government doubled our debt. A debt that took 150+ years to create. Canadians not even born yet are already in incredible debt. And will have lower standards of living & healthcare. The less control Ottawa has over anything is better for the rest of us. And that includes if conservatives are in charge.

@tonespeaks Yikes. Crazy response, by that I mean long. And no I didn’t say we have a lower standard of living, but that future Canadians will. Which will be true.

@tonespeaks When the government spends more to pay off debt while simultaneously harming our resource sectors (over $100 Billion in stalled or cancelled energy projects) that means less money for Canadians, social programs & healthcare. Regardless of your opinion that’s the situation we are in. And future Canadians will have lower standards of living directly due to this. It’s not rocket science.
