I really wish conservatives just said “Canada had been around 700 mt of GHG emissions a year for the last 25 years while our population increased by 10 million citizens. Our priority is to stop believing a country that is responsible for 1.6% of global emissions can change the atmosphere of a planet, we will focus on the economy & getting Canadians out of a $1.2 trillion dollar hole”. But they won’t.

@zentonil but nobody denies the climate changes. It has changed for billions of years. Multiple hot & ice ages without any human interaction. What is debated is can or how much do humans affect the change & what exactly can be done about it. Like for example increasing our carbon taxes while our emissions increased.

@zentonil which is still being debated. Even the carbon tax is debated. Nobody knows with certainty all the facts & solutions related to climate change. It’s impossible to know. Especially when 100 years of climate data (record high & low temperatures) were deleted by the liberals in a climate policy report in 2019. The policies they base the carbon tax on. While our emissions increased.
