@GreenBeanGreenBean wow. A lot of wrong information there. Anyway, over the last 10-20 years AHS has cut staff, beds & funding to many hospitals in rural areas. Some hospitals that had emergency services no longer do. So when something like Covid hits rural Albertans need to be shipped to the cities creating this overloading problem. And thousands of medical staff who worked in danger for the last year & a half are about to be fired. Because we’re overwhelmed right? Lol. Ok.

The Albertan government did a terrible job promoting this equalization vote. Lots of folks don’t even know it’s on there. Why the UCP wouldn’t promote their own idea & campaign promise is a mystery to me.

@GreenBeanGreenBean you have zero idea of what’s actually going on. Potentially hundreds of thousands of Canadians are about to lose their jobs across all industries, potentially millions if you include America. Our logistical systems are already hurting. Police, medical staff, correctional officers, truck drivers, bank employees, social workers, food production, energy production, port workers….millions of people. 20% of Quebec nurses are about to lose their jobs. 50% of police in Chicago. There are examples everywhere. I hope you have a bit of food & some basic life skills to survive. You’ll probably need those soon.

@Speaking Moistly lots of folks I speak to. The vast majority of people don’t watch the news. And who buys newspapers anymore? Like 5%-10% of 🇨🇦 watches CBC.
