There is also the South Korean education system . schools parents teachers are stressing the students. I saw a documentary in which a Korean student go to sleep at 2 am every day. He had to go to the academy after school...if he falls asleep more than 3 times they are punished and school teacher warns the parents . He sleeps 4 or 5 hours per night which is not enough. Mental health and suicide are two issues that need to be resolved. But l think the Korean government has to changed the educational system. As for idols the company needs to listen and protect the artist l mean some of trainees can’t see their family for a long time. They start at 13 by 16/17 they make their debut and their schedule is just impossible. And also some fans l forgot the name but those stalkers who threaten and follow them...it’s difficult to put a smile every day and say it’s ok. And also anonymous people who insult the artist... I am glad companies take legal action now and listen the artist if he is stressed or tired- but the government has to take action and reform schools , arts , and society . The next generation is more open and can talk about mental health.
