  1. In fact, it is not human "stupidity" that is the problem. but human LACK OF WISDOM, which is quite different, as Socrates illustrated so very well so very long ago. A person can be extremely intelligent and yet make extremely insane decisions if that person lacks wisdom. At the same time, it is possible for a simple person - who could not rise above a "D" in grade school - to be quite wise, and make decisions that are absolutely superior to those of the college professor.
