  1. As Bolton has stated, Trump and Pompeo de-legitimized the Afghan government by excluding them while negotiating with the Taliban. The Afghan Army likely felt that it had nothing to fight for but a deflated puppet. And it went limp. If you didn't learn from Vietnam....Modern U.S. wars are about nothing but making money for the military/industrial/oil complex. They couldn't get their wars if not for people's willful ignorance. And nowadays they are successfully convincing nearly half the population and an entire political party (Republican) to go FASCIST so that they have TOTAL control. This is the road you're on, America. It's the road of selfish interest. And it leads to hell. God's prophet has spoken.
