  1. Trump is the result of MANY decades of this. (I'm obviously older than you, Nick.) And here's the deal: People are not drawn to hate, as would appear. People FEAR. Fear is the cause of hate. Hate is but an effect. Fear is the opposite of love, and hate is simply a result of that fear. Before you can truly love another, you must love yourself. And if you hate another it is because you hate yourself, at a deep, most-often subconscious level. A less-advanced soul is more fearful than a more-advanced soul. And generally speaking, the United States is a nation of relatively young souls. The young soul bathes itself in SELFISHNESS in its attempt to ease its fears.
