"This can all end now if Hamas returns the hostages and surrenders." You mean, like they tried to do several times in the last few months and the israelites refused?

@babajaga158 "All their life they relied on aid?? Why?? I dont get it." Because of this: Damage to European Union-funded projects in Palestine during Israeli attacks and other incursions is nothing new. However, following the union’s move in 2015 to label Israeli settlement products, the number of EU-funded projects demolished or confiscated by Israel increased dramatically. In the first three months of 2016, the number of demolitions per month, of either private property or Internationally/EU–funded projects, increased to 165, from an average of 50 during 2012-2015, The United Nations office for coordination of humanitarian affairs 'OCHA' has documented 120 demolitions against EU-financed buildings in the first three months of 2016. @wjumeau "Gaza did get free water and electricity from Israel before the 7th." Reality: In November 1967 the Israeli authorities issued Military Order 158, which stated that Palestinians could not construct any new water installation without first obtaining a permit from the Israeli army. Since then, the extraction of water from any new source or the development of any new water infrastructure would require permits from Israel, which are near impossible to obtain. Palestinians living under Israel’s military occupation continue to suffer the devastating consequences of this order until today. They are unable to drill new water wells, install pumps or deepen existing wells, in addition to being denied access to the Jordan River and fresh water springs. Israel even controls the collection of rain water throughout most of the West Bank, and rainwater harvesting cisterns owned by Palestinian communities are often destroyed by the Israeli army. As a result, some 180 Palestinian communities in rural areas in the occupied West Bank have no access to running water, according to OCHA. Even in towns and villages which are connected to the water network, the taps often run dry. Source: Amnesty International -> The Occupation of Water

This is from 4 months ago: Benjamin Netanyahu rejected a deal for a five-day ceasefire with Palestinian militant groups in Gaza in return for the release of some of the hostages held in the territory early in the war, according to sources familiar with the negotiations. The sources said the Israeli prime minister rejected the deal outright in negotiations soon after Hamas militants staged an unprecedented incursion into Israeli territory on 7 October, killing an estimated 1,400 people. And this is from 1 month ago: As the war in Gaza enters its fifth month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected, on Wednesday, February 7, a ceasefire and hostage release deal set out by the Islamic resistance movement. @babajaga158 And: Euro-Med Monitor estimates that since 2001, the Israeli authorities have destroyed approximately 150 development projects, of which totally or partial funded by the EC and its member states, of what incurs the EU a financial loss of approximately €58 million out of the total €85 million worth of damage. Euro-Med Monitor also estimates that since 2001, the total value of EU squandered aid money (development and humanitarian projects)amounts to €65million—of which at least €23million were lost during the 2014 assault alone. @wjumeau And: In the early morning hours of 28 June 2006, following the abduction of Cpl. Gilad Shalit, the Israeli Air Force attacked the only electrical power plant operating in the Gaza Strip. Six missiles were fired at the power plant's six transformers. Two of the missiles missed their target, so two more missiles were fired a few minutes later, destroying the remaining transformers. Three months have passed since the attack. Public and media attention has long since shifted elsewhere. Nevertheless, for the 1.4 million residents of the Gaza Strip, who have been forced to live without electricity for long parts of the day and night, the harsh effects of the attack continue to be felt. source: BTSelem -> Act of Vengeance: Israel's Bombing of the Gaza Power Plant and its Effects

@Svetka.A Let us see what happened to those billions, shall we? Damage to European Union-funded projects in Palestine during Israeli attacks and other incursions is nothing new. @babajaga158 "price you pay to support Hamas." The same price the palestinians have been paying before hamas had been created.

@wjumeau "And for over 1000 years before that the followers of The Prophet have been killing Jews en masse." Any evidence for this? Feel free to provide sources for your claim.

@wjumeau "I guess the actions on the 7th will just keep the cycle of violence going on for another 1000 years." The October 7 in question: Furthermore, during a lengthy interview on Israel's Channel 12, Porat speaks of intense gunfire after Israeli forces arrived and elaborates that, although the resistance fighters were heavily armed, she never saw them shoot captives or threaten them with their guns. She also highlights that the Israeli army announced their arrival at the settlement “with a hail of gunfire,” catching the resistance fighters and their captives by surprise. @kerenkroll Any evidence for this? Because here's the ones that hide behind children: A United Nations human rights body accused Israeli forces in June 2013 of "continuous use of Palestinian children as human shields and informants", voicing with deep concern 14 such cases had been reported between January 2010 and March 2013. It says almost all accused soldiers involved in the incidents have gone unpunished.[58] Source: Wiki-Pedia -> Human shields in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict

@kerenkroll And: During the 1956–1957 occupation of Gaza Strip by Israel (as part of the Suez crisis), Israeli forces would search homes of suspected Palestinian fedayeen for weapons, caches or concealed fighters. Because these homes could have booby traps or snipers waiting for Israeli soldiers, they would use Palestinian children as human shields.[27] Source: Wiki-Pedia -> Human shields in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict

@kerenkroll And: The Guardian compiled three videos and testimony from civilians about alleged war crimes committed by Israeli soldiers during the 2008–09 Gaza War, including the use of Palestinian children as human shields. In the videos, three teenage brothers from the al-Attar family said that they were forced at gunpoint to kneel in front of tanks to deter Hamas fighters from firing at them and that they were used to "clear" houses for the Israeli soldiers.[51] Source: Wiki-Pedia -> Human shields in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict

@babajaga158 Also: On Saturday, Israeli navy ships attacked Palestinian fishing boats and chased them near the shores of Gaza City. The Palestinian Fishermen’s Syndicate said the Israeli navy ships fired many live rounds and rubber-coated steel bullets and used water cannons against the fishing boats on the Al-Waha and As-Sudaniyya shores, northwest of Gaza City. The Syndicate added that the navy tried to capsize the fishing boats before chasing them to the shore. Source: IMEMC News -> Israeli Navy Attacks Fishing Boats In Gaza

@babajaga158 And: On Thursday, the Navy fired sporadic rounds of live ammunition and rubber-coated steel bullets at fishing boats in the Al-Waha area, wounding one fisherman with a rubber-coated steel bullet. Last Monday, the navy attacked fishing boats in northern Gaza and abducted five fishermen before releasing three later. The Gaza Strip has about 4000 fishermen supporting more than 60.000 persons in the coastal region that has been under strict Israeli siege for the last 17 years. @babajaga158 And: October 18, 2020. In the morning hours of Tuesday, October 13, Israeli tanks and bulldozers entered Gaza, reaching up to 300 meters into the Strip. The incursion took place in the Khan Yunis District, near Khuzaa and Abasan Al Kabireh, damaging wide swaths of farmland. According to Gaza-based human rights organization Al Mezan, the last time an incursion resulted in such serious damage to crops in Gaza was in 2014. @babajaga158 And: The Israeli army regularly conducts incursions into the “buffer zone” area in Gaza, including entering with bulldozers and heavy equipment in order to raze vegetation, flatten roads and expose the terrain. Israel has claimed this activity is necessary for “security reasons.” Figures released by Al Mezan indicate that between January and August 2020 Israel invaded Palestinian farmland near Gaza’s parameter fence on 34 occasions.
