@stephenglasse2743 "You're assuming it was the 'Palestinians' land to give." The reality: Modern Palestinians have half of their DNA from ancient Canaanites, which ties them to the land, even though Jews left the land for nearly 2,000 years. The DNA studies support the claim that Palestinians are descended from ancient Canaanites, which may increase the Palestinian claim to the land. @stephenglasse2743 "In fact, 'Palestine' was a name that the PAGAN Roman OCCUPIERS gave to the land of the Jews." Again, the reality: The term “Palestine” is derived from the Greek word Philistia, which referred to the ancient state of the Philistines. This name was given to the region by Greek writers in the 12th century B.C. Source: PCRF -> Who Are the Palestinians?

@stephenglasse2743 "no they live in Israel. " Yes, that's why it's called an invasion. If they lived in their land it wouldn't be an invasion.

@stephenglasse2743 "The Turks lost WW1 after siding with losers and aggressors and the victors gave the land to the Jews." And again, here's the reality: Lord Curzon chairing the Eastern Committee meeting of 5th Dec 1918 at which Balfour was present is minuted laying out the government’s position. Curzon had explained that: .. Palestine was included in the areas as to which Great Britain pledged itself that they should be Arab and independent in the future… (1) In 1919 the Political Intelligence Department of the British Foreign Office drafted a confidential memorandum on the issue for the use of Britain’s delegation at the Versailles Peace Conference. With reference to Palestine, the memorandum read: “H.M.G. [His Majesty’s Government] are committed by Sir Henry McMahon’s letter to the Sherif on October 24, 1915, to its inclusion in the boundaries of Arab independence.” (2) Source: Balfour Project -> The McMahon promise to Hussein

@stephenglasse2743 "but that right was given to the Jews by the victors of WW1." And here's who the victory of WW1 has given that right: During the First World War (1914–1918), an Arab uprising against Ottoman rule and the British Empire's Egyptian Expeditionary Force (EEF) drove the Ottoman Turks out of the Levant.[3] The United Kingdom had agreed in the McMahon–Hussein Correspondence that it would honour Arab independence if the Arabs revolted against the Ottoman Turks, but in the end, the United Kingdom and France divided the area under the Sykes–Picot Agreement—an act of betrayal in the eyes of the Arabs. @stephenglasse2743 " I just deny that living in the land gives you a right to a state." Why?

@stephenglasse2743 I sugest you ditch the fairy tales and pick up an history book instead.

@stephenglasse2743 ""But it doesn't matter a great deal for my argument anyway since the Greeks and Philistines were pagans and idolaters by Muslim standards.! And now you're bringing fairy tales into this. Tipical zionist.

@stephenglasse2743 And: This map from JMN Jeffries, Palestine, The Reality, (London 1939) shows that Palestine was in the area promised to Hussein by McMahon. Only Lebanon and part of current Syria to the North were excluded. Source: Balfour Project -> The McMahon promise to Hussein
