@noecadavona1862 "Palestinians can't survive with UNRWA and needed humanitarian aid for they are starving" And here's why: Damage to European Union-funded projects in Palestine during Israeli attacks and other incursions is nothing new. However, following the union’s move in 2015 to label Israeli settlement products, the number of EU-funded projects demolished or confiscated by Israel increased dramatically. In the first three months of 2016, the number of demolitions per month, of either private property or Internationally/EU–funded projects, increased to 165, from an average of 50 during 2012-2015, The United Nations office for coordination of humanitarian affairs 'OCHA' has documented 120 demolitions against EU-financed buildings in the first three months of 2016. @noecadavona1862 And: Euro-Med Monitor estimates that since 2001, the Israeli authorities have destroyed approximately 150 development projects, of which totally or partial funded by the EC and its member states, of what incurs the EU a financial loss of approximately €58 million out of the total €85 million worth of damage. Euro-Med Monitor also estimates that since 2001, the total value of EU squandered aid money (development and humanitarian projects)amounts to €65million—of which at least €23million were lost during the 2014 assault alone. @noecadavona1862 And: In November 1967 the Israeli authorities issued Military Order 158, which stated that Palestinians could not construct any new water installation without first obtaining a permit from the Israeli army. Since then, the extraction of water from any new source or the development of any new water infrastructure would require permits from Israel, which are near impossible to obtain. Palestinians living under Israel’s military occupation continue to suffer the devastating consequences of this order until today. Source: Amnesty International -> The Occupation of Water

@noecadavona1862 And: They are unable to drill new water wells, install pumps or deepen existing wells, in addition to being denied access to the Jordan River and fresh water springs. Israel even controls the collection of rain water throughout most of the West Bank, and rainwater harvesting cisterns owned by Palestinian communities are often destroyed by the Israeli army. As a result, some 180 Palestinian communities in rural areas in the occupied West Bank have no access to running water, according to OCHA. Even in towns and villages which are connected to the water network, the taps often run dry. Source: Amnesty International -> The Occupation of Water

@noecadavona1862 And: During 11 days in May 2021, air strikes affected 13 water wells, three desalination plants and 250,000 meters of water pipes, reportedly including the main pipeline carrying water purchased from Mekorot. Three days of strikes in early August 2022 resulted in some damage to sections of the water network, and a fuel shortage temporarily decreased water production and delivery by more than 50 percent. @noecadavona1862 And: Numerous non-Jewish historical sites were destroyed, not just during the wars, but in a subsequent process over a number of decades. For example, over 80% of Palestinian village mosques have been destroyed, and artefacts have been removed from museums and archives.[38] A variety of laws were promulgated in Israel to legalize the expropriation of Palestinian land.[39][40] Source: Wiki-Pedia -> Nakba

@noecadavona1862 Also: On Saturday, Israeli navy ships attacked Palestinian fishing boats and chased them near the shores of Gaza City. The Palestinian Fishermen’s Syndicate said the Israeli navy ships fired many live rounds and rubber-coated steel bullets and used water cannons against the fishing boats on the Al-Waha and As-Sudaniyya shores, northwest of Gaza City. The Syndicate added that the navy tried to capsize the fishing boats before chasing them to the shore. Source: IMEMC News -> Israeli Navy Attacks Fishing Boats In Gaza

@noecadavona1862 And: On Thursday, the Navy fired sporadic rounds of live ammunition and rubber-coated steel bullets at fishing boats in the Al-Waha area, wounding one fisherman with a rubber-coated steel bullet. Last Monday, the navy attacked fishing boats in northern Gaza and abducted five fishermen before releasing three later. The Gaza Strip has about 4000 fishermen supporting more than 60.000 persons in the coastal region that has been under strict Israeli siege for the last 17 years. @noecadavona1862 And: October 18, 2020. In the morning hours of Tuesday, October 13, Israeli tanks and bulldozers entered Gaza, reaching up to 300 meters into the Strip. The incursion took place in the Khan Yunis District, near Khuzaa and Abasan Al Kabireh, damaging wide swaths of farmland. According to Gaza-based human rights organization Al Mezan, the last time an incursion resulted in such serious damage to crops in Gaza was in 2014. @noecadavona1862 And: The Israeli army regularly conducts incursions into the “buffer zone” area in Gaza, including entering with bulldozers and heavy equipment in order to raze vegetation, flatten roads and expose the terrain. Israel has claimed this activity is necessary for “security reasons.” Figures released by Al Mezan indicate that between January and August 2020 Israel invaded Palestinian farmland near Gaza’s parameter fence on 34 occasions. CharlesReynolds-nb5bb The reality: Since the 1990s, archaeologists have extensively excavated four of the five cities of the Philistine Pentapolis: Ashdod, Ashkelon, Ekron, and Gath. Only Gaza, which is located beneath the modern Palestinian city of the same name, remains unexcavated. These digs, particularly the long-term excavations of the ruins of Gath beneath Tell es-Safi, have helped archaeologists tell a more nuanced story about the origins of the Philistines, which may lie in a series of mass migrations rather than waves of conquest.
