@ron88303 The october 7 in question: Furthermore, during a lengthy interview on Israel's Channel 12, Porat speaks of intense gunfire after Israeli forces arrived and elaborates that, although the resistance fighters were heavily armed, she never saw them shoot captives or threaten them with their guns. She also highlights that the Israeli army announced their arrival at the settlement “with a hail of gunfire,” catching the resistance fighters and their captives by surprise. @YoramAizenberg Let us see who uses palestinian children as human shields, shall we? A United Nations human rights body accused Israeli forces in June 2013 of "continuous use of Palestinian children as human shields and informants", voicing with deep concern 14 such cases had been reported between January 2010 and March 2013. It says almost all accused soldiers involved in the incidents have gone unpunished.[58] Source: Wiki-Pedia -> Human shields in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict

@YoramAizenberg And: During the 1956–1957 occupation of Gaza Strip by Israel (as part of the Suez crisis), Israeli forces would search homes of suspected Palestinian fedayeen for weapons, caches or concealed fighters. Because these homes could have booby traps or snipers waiting for Israeli soldiers, they would use Palestinian children as human shields.[27] Source: Wiki-Pedia -> Human shields in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict

@YoramAizenberg And: The Guardian compiled three videos and testimony from civilians about alleged war crimes committed by Israeli soldiers during the 2008–09 Gaza War, including the use of Palestinian children as human shields. In the videos, three teenage brothers from the al-Attar family said that they were forced at gunpoint to kneel in front of tanks to deter Hamas fighters from firing at them and that they were used to "clear" houses for the Israeli soldiers.[51] Source: Wiki-Pedia -> Human shields in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict

@Ariel-jq1if "The territory the UN wanted to give them was mostly unowned and uninhabited desert with no sovereign rule." Here's photos of the territory in question. does it look like uninhabited? AlJazeera -> The photo archive bringing pre-Nakba Jerusalem alive

@Kvasiir Reality: Eran Elhaik, a geneticist at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, is calling for a rewrite of commonly held assumptions about Jewish ancestry. Instead of being primarily the descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel, present-day Jewish populations are, finds Elhaik, primarily the children of a Turkish people who lived in what is now Russia, north of Georgia, east of Ukraine. This civilization, the Khazars, converted from tribal religions to Judaism between the 7th and 9th centuries. @Kvasiir And: The complete data set contained 1287 unrelated individuals of 8 Jewish and 74 non-Jewish populations, genotyped over 531,315 autosomal single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). The author has applied a wide range of population genetic analyses to compare the two hypotheses and showed that a sole Judean ancestry cannot account for the vast population of Eastern European Jews in the beginning of the twentieth century without the major contribution of Judaized Khazars.
