@gabrieldsouza6541 not to mention that dams hold fresh water back from the ocean for a State in critical water crisis...

@jeffsprague96 Actually, I was curious who was funding the research. What I stated had neither positive or negative connotations, but I'm glad you've got me all figured from those 10 words I typed. Cheers!

And they have an awesome name! :)

@StaYUTI420 I remember. Back in 2002 there was a sonic boom from a space shuttle landing at Edwards that knocked my friend's brand new GSXR600 motorcycle over in the parking lot. It was like over 1K in cosmetic damage. That was a bad day lol.

It's different here. America is big.

@topapo3661 my point is the population density is very different for region to region in the US. In many places in the States, towns are separated by over 100 miles. There are towns that even Amazon refuse to deliver to. In the Southwest for example, some travelers have to plan out routes simply to make sure there are adequate fuel stops on their route so they don't run out of gas. Even in 2023. THAT is my point. Are you ever worried about running out of petrol during a road trip in the EU? If there are barely enough fuel stations in some areas, do you think the number of grocery stores would be higher, or lower than the number of fuel stations?

IIRC, in the 1960's, they predicted that peak oil would happen in 2021. That was pretty accurate.

Like he stated in the video, no one is putting forth the investment money.

@kjugirl "then maybe you should learn the difference between a question and an assumption with a question mark at the end." I literally did not do that. I never stated that I knew the most likely outcome, as that would be an assumption. I simply posed a question - using the correct punctuation. It seems like you are assuming I was making an assumption though, which I can't help but find ironic. Bundled with that passive-aggressive subtext about my lack of education and/or intelligence does start to reveal elements of your character however. There doesn't seem to be any benefit from further communique between us - so I'm out. Feel free to have the last word though if you're feeling petty or childish, but understand I won't be reading it. Cheers!

The research and work he puts in is mostly done by orphan Antarctican children that he pays with food.
