  2.  @gseric4721  why wouldn't it be heading east from San Diego? Are you familiar with the area? Do you know what is east of San Diego? Nothing. Nothing for hundreds of miles until you hit Arizona. Which has a military base there basically in the middle of nowhere. Tell me again why his story makes no sense?

  4. Price per mission - the cost of specialized technicians, maintenance and parts. Not every flight is of top priority. They only fly when necessary - for everything else, there's U2's. We had space shuttles for 30 years, and they didn't go up every weekend lol

  5. My guess is that because the SR-91 and the Black Manta have such unconventional propulsion, they have not been made public - no matter how expensive, useless, or unneeded these platforms are. One the tech is out in the open, all bets are off. Just because we don't seem to use the tech much right now, doesn't mean we won't need it later, or that we want other governments to have it.
