  1. It still happens today, it's easy and cheap to remember the dead than support the living, the UK people don't give a hoot about the military as it doesn't effect their little lives. Currently we are still in Africa, Estonia, Falklands, Cyprus, Afghanistan and Iraq probably other places to. We can't even wear our uniforms in public.

  6. Today's battle? Which one, we in the UK military are involved with many conflicts over the globe. Just that it doesn't effect you lot at home, so you don't care, keep on clapping idiots. It's cheap to remember the dead but how about supporting those who are alive and doing there duty giving up everything for you.

  7. Stalin was clever, he remembered napoleon ; he aloud the hun to stretch their supply train, while retreating, leaving guys behind to slow the advance, knowing winter was coming. Then turned the fight around. The Russians are a hard people, brutal and technology means nothing if you have massive numbers. Maybe the USA should read up before starting on China and Russia.

  9. They secured victory in 1945, but then Germany won with banks not tanks. The UK roads are littered with German metal. So much for patriotic duty.
