Don't listen to music anymore it's dead. Stone dead. Fed up of hearing about love, heartbreak and more love its boring. Samey safe song writing. The big four labels destroyed music when they brought up many of the indie labels in the 90's. Now it's all about money just money. The x factor is a prime example of throw away acts. Look at the charts today compared to the charts in the 70's, you could have a punk act next to a soul or disco act with some prog rock band even a folk artist. Now it's corporate vomit. Turn the sound off and enjoy the soft adult material aimed at the youth of today.

Paul kossoff was and is my favourite with his Les Paul. I like the fact Clapton once said he was better than him.

Very similar indeed.

Heres my 2pence worth. The big four destroyed the indie labels in the 90's maybe later and its been rubbish ever since. Computers have destroyed creativity and where are the ugly singers?....you know the men and women who can actually sing amd perform not the one hit wonders that litter the floor of modern music.

But will be forgotten like all the others.

The big Record labels suck, have done for decades. They have always been years behind a music revolution and what the major labels produce is karaoke junk. Since the big 4 bought up the independent labels in the 90's after indie, or as the big labels call it Brit pop. There hasn't been any change to music. It's stale, stagnate, they write about the same stuff to make money, with writers pools. Thousands of fans go to pop shows to listen to a factory cd with a squeaky front person unable to hit their own notes. The masses is deaf. If Kate Bush can write "a man with a child in his eyes" at 13 years old, still sell out in minutes after 30+ years. Goes to show the quality of the work, the same goes for all the real musicians and writers. I've always supported the independent acts from folk to punk. Long live free music.

Listening to Rick Talk about music is like reading many genres of inlay cards and vinyl gatefold LP's at once. Depth of knowledge is wonderful to listen to. Glad your back Rick. Rock on 🤟

The charts have sounded the same for over a decade, can't wait for that lawsuit.
