If this happens In the uk and nobody is around, I just roll forward, looking left and right and proceed with caution.

At 12'000 rpm plus on my 2 stroke i'd guess id be going very quick before a seize. If I can stretch the rod

That drum brake was second in bike reviews to Honda's 4 leading shoe on the CB. easy to set up once you learn a few simple steps.

I start mine , gently warm up, then I clear the cylinders out. If work has got in the way otherwise i go for a ride. Those 50 year old check valves seep oil into the crankcases.

Yes, otherwise i get a cold seize. My piston / bore clearance is tight. But after working on enough engines In 20 years, the amount i have seen with out of square bores with round rings. So yes being brutal on a bike engine from cold destroys it.

more noticeable on older machines, take an old British Leyland motor, run on 95 Ron and it's not a happy bunny, use 99 Ron and it runs lovely, probably because it's timed to run on old four star leaded fuel. Never noticed any difference on my motorcycles over the years. Depending on your Jetting a higher Ron can seize two strokes.
