  1. more noticeable on older machines, take an old British Leyland motor, run on 95 Ron and it's not a happy bunny, use 99 Ron and it runs lovely, probably because it's timed to run on old four star leaded fuel. Never noticed any difference on my motorcycles over the years. Depending on your Jetting a higher Ron can seize two strokes.
