Join the military..... Get paid well especially as an aircraft technician...... Get a degree or two subsidised by the government, get experiences like sports across the globe, Get hands on skills and others that are incredibly competitive if not better than your civvy counterparts as unlike Civvies you get to work across the world in dynamic, difficult environments.... Sometimes kinetic. That makes the stresses of an office job look very tame. The hands on experience and if your not a snowflake and stay in do your time, you get free medical, gym dentist, physios, trick cyclists.. Bumped up the nhs queue. Oh and you get a pension that pays out when your 40 ish until you pass away......of all the thousands of people I've worked with nearly all that have left have walked into jobs from teaching, train driving, business owners to spanner monkeys and everything inbetween with ease... Many of those jobs say degree in the title but many don't have one as they are experienced...... In the I mech E publications there are frequent interviews with employers who said for a long time they ignored ex military, now they take them over uni folk because of everything they have done...... Uni isn't worth a penny unless your going to be a nurse, doctor or dentist.
