Now 70+ years ago when the country has large industrial sights. We could build most things of the time, now those sights are housing and retail parks. Our engineering is tiny 1% of GDP with huge skills shortages. Engineering makes a country great not banks but those in power arnt interested.

The royal navy saved us in the battle of Britain, we had the largest navy. Those at the military academy's in the UK and across the pond worked that out. Not me. Do some reading, we only won the BofB because Hitler changed tactics after we bombed Berlin. Used an old tourist guide, hence some places were never touched.
