Not really but in the UK drivers are taught to block change. Wait till they select the wrong gear and boom, goes the block.

F1 are looking at two strokes less parts, Greater efficiency. Shame we can't have 2 stroke diesel like the maritime world. ( imagine the size of cars)

The duration is not the problem but many owners taking it as fact and never checking oil levels. Including gearboxes. Rather costly idiotic mistake to believe a man made mechanical device won't leak or burn any of it.

The problem is the masses in the UK don't fix cars. Listen to other owners who have heard things and come to a group consensus, then this becomes fact. Because they are so naive, refuse to learn, putting it under the blanket of you need special tools and expensive diagnostics. How wrong they are, Ill informed due to the mass consensus. No you don't need special tools for most things, the ecu doesn't monitor everything. Cars are still crude and are made even cheaper today. Ncap safety cubes designed to rot, snap and fail.

No problem if you've got a Mr fusion and a flux capacitor.

My bicycle can travel further on less energy. The energy used to get a car from London to Glasgow is the same energy a cyclists would use to cycle around the world. So which is greener? If you want to be green, use all the current Stock of used cars up first before digging more of our planet to get raw elements and fuel burning more energy to make a so called green car. The car will never be green. My old French eurobox from 2000 does 70 mpg, weighs 950kg and over 700 miles out of a tank. So no need for yet another new metal box trying to save the planet.

Four bangers run lean and hot with big waste pipes for exhausts. I'm now snow blind after looking at my plugs without snow goggles. Definitely need back pressure on a two stroke otherwise the expansion chambers don't work.

Same head design as a lawn mower/ harley. Inefficient for today's fuels.
