The russians have more subs than we have large ships In the RN and well the airforce operates from 3 fast jet Airfeilds one transport feild and thats it. Helicopters can go where they like. Of course when drawn into a long war, industry and resources is the biggest requirement. The uk has hardly anything. Toothless yes.
