  5.  @frankabbott  yes they gave people the right to buy their council houses. But look at photos of council housing in the 50's, people were proud to have them, they looked after them, councils had money to maintain properties, but the tenants looked after them, come forward 30 years, the money dried up, people bought them yes. But unfortunately people, then started blaming the system and wanted to destroy where they live. Places became a dive, dumped junk, drugs and gang rubbish. The people are the problem and the people can implement change but they don't want to. The government doesn't have the money to build housing. So let's up the rates and make it happen.

Blah blah blah, go further back, the tories police force were heavy handed, tory internment of white males as she wouldn't talk to the IRA, the BLM don't remember that, it makes today's police look like marry poppins. Then thatchers idea of bring shares to the masses, she didn't realise how greedy the people would be, money driven greed. She train wrecked the Base interest rate changing monthly, peaked over 10%. The previous governments hand in the destruction of industry, the unions causing issues. You may hate new labour which really was the labour party getting closer to tory ideals, but people were better off in the 90's. Today's career politicians on ALL sides don't care for the people and bare faced lies are acceptable. What we need is a world war, would put your little lives into prospective of what actually matters.

  8. They haven't, just the rest of the country have jobs, go to work, look after family. Have better things to do than get worked up over little things. The sorry fact could be that if this continues, far right views will gain pace. Then all we are doing is repeating history of the interwar years, with Marxist ideology and the far right gaining large areas fast.

  9. The police are weak because of one thing 'diversity' in the 70/80's some were thugs. They got the job done. You can't send polite people to deal with violence all the time. Unfortunately years of ignoring ex military guys who have experience of far greater tension and violence and their experiences of how to handle it to escalate in a controlled Manor and how to go the other way. Has been ignored. They are far fitter than our silly OTT equality police force. The police fitness test is a joke.
