  3. @lesleyhaan116  Depends on what do you define as "freedom".At 2014,people's ability to influence the politics were very limited,thou some anti-putin politicians worked in Russia as deputies,for example,Ilya Yashin was a Chairman of the Council of Deputies of the Krasnoselsky Municipal District (thats in Moscow),Maxim Katz was member of the municipal assembly of the Shchukino district (Moscow too).Freedom of speech,check,but not as much as in Europe,you could realy critic Putin on TV.Freedom of enterprise?Check.Rights of LGBT?The same as in after-Maidan Ukraine.And both Russia and Ukraine are corrupted oligarchies,Russia is oligarchic autocracy,and Ukraine is oligarchic democracy. If we compare them right now,both have no presidental elections (Ukrainian constitution only says that Rada elections move to the date after peace comes,president still has to be re-elected even in war),both have huge problems with the freedom of speech,even before the war,a case has been opened against the leader of a pro-Russian party,and that woman in Trump's new team whose name i don't remember criticized Ukraine for that.Teachers in Kherson are going in court for not leaving their job in Russia's occupation.I am not saying,that the annexation was good,i'm just saying,that majority of people wanted to be in Russia.

About presidental terms in Russia.You'd be surprised,but Putin actualy made this thing more democratical in amenmends in constitution of 2020.Before 2020 constitution said,that one person can't become a president more than 2 times in a row.After 2020 it just says,that one person can't become president more than 2 times.

  5.  @bjorntrollgesicht1144  For her personal benefits,she could support both the reform and invasion.Most of Crimeans supported the annexation,so i think she supported it too,because she really thought,that Crimea can't be in this new Ukraine.

  6. @lesleyhaan116  This shish doesn't work like that.People want to live in Russia,but they already have jobs and friends on Crimea,it's kinda scary to go to another country with just some money and family,and people just lazy to move out.And unlike your rights in Netherlands,Russians in Crimea are the majority.(When they moved to Crimea,the peninsula was part of Russia in USSR)

  7. @bjorntrollgesicht1144  Nah,i think she'll be fine in after-Putin Russia.Cause if they will "deputinise" Russia,then they'll have to arrest half of their own government,they care about her treason to Ukraine even less.
