Yes but Ukraine is in an active war and military budgets peacetime have little relevence.... the main thing is that these weapons are to defend the usas own arse and interests which are large things... As such having Ukraine perform a draw down on russian military power will be extremely beneficial for the usa as it requires zero manpower loss whilst already almost destroying russian military capacity. .. thus ccp war can go ahead without undue distraction... It should take no more than 10 to 15 more weeks to put russia in a position where it cannot project power for 2 to 3 years and if the war goes on another 5 to 6 months then russia will probably be crippled for 5 to 10 years... so win win win... shareholders of the western armaments industry rejoice.
