  1. It depends on the segment. The A45 sounds worse than the RS3, the S AMGs not as good as the M760Li and the AMG GTR not as good as the 911 GT3 and the SVR. Also the GLE AMG not as good as the SVR.

Yeah you're right the RS3 (mostly regarded as the best sounding hatch on the market), the 911 GT3 (revving to 9000rpm, one of the best sounding cars out there), the F-Type and Range Rover SVR (which engine is universally praised for its characteristic sound) have such a shit exhaust note amiright haha what an idiot i am. Get lost fanboy.

  5. I don't think Volvo can compete with these. Maybe with the S6, E43 AMG, M550i, XF S and Ghibli S Q4 but not the 600+hp big boys.

  6. The M5 is already confirmed with xDrive... But RWD would make it more nimble and lighter so it's a good think imo.

  7. There is a difference between ditching the V8 and going back the Inline 6. The Inline 6 is BMW's historical engine, and the most used layout in the M family.
