People brag about the price, but keep in mind that this has: carbon doors, carbon ceramic brakes, carbon rear wing, carbon front lip, 20 inches one-off wheels, Michelin Cup 2, Water injection system so it has 500hp, new Carbon racing seats with E36 design (the stripes), alcantara interior, a full roll cage, Laser head lights, OLED tail lights (industry first), and it laps the Nürburgring in under 7 minutes 30s This car has 911 GT3-Like performances, and if you want the specs it has for the GT3 it will probably cost 10k more, while not being a limited run model. Come on guys, the price is pretty fair for what you got... it looks expensive, but it actually is pretty logical.

  3. Nik Brudar The other guy is right. 500hp 4.0 Flat 6, low production Volume, first to have 4 wheel steering, 918 seats, new huge wing, sharpest Aero ever on a 911... What did you excpect.

  4. Nik Brudar His point is that if a fully loaded is 90k the GTS has 0 chance to be 90k or 100k with all the further goodies it adds, but more like 120-130k. That's what i tried to say, but apparently i was misunderstood.

  5. Nik Brudar If it was a 3.8 it would be even more valuable because the hp/l would be even more insane: 131.6 opposed to 125 now. That's quite a huge gap.  In fact it would be the second best in the industry, after the official (and probably final) record, hold by the Speciale.

  6. Nik Brudar Yes it is. You have to consider this could potentially be the most powerfull NA Flat 6 ever produced by Porsche both in terms of Specific Power and overall power. Being 4.0, it has the exact same specific output as the regular GT3's 3.8 engine. It would basically mean that NA Porsche can't get anything better than this particular car, and it a massive point. Well if it is indeed the last NA GT3 RS... Apparently it's not. But the engine is pretty close to the limit... Look, Ferrari already have done its last NA cars: 458 Speciale, highest specific output of any NA car aver, and F12 TdF most powerfull NA engine ever, second highest specific output, because the next front engine V12 will go hybrid.

  7. Nik Brudar Basically the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 is the last GT3 with a manual transmission. It was also the first (and last ?) time Porsche made a car even more focused than the GT3 RS. The hood, the front fenders, and the seats are carbon fiber, you can take climate control out as an option, it has a lithium-ion battery. You could also get even lighter polycarbonate seats, windows (the ones that has the tiny little window in them), plus a roll cage. Basically, the GT3 RS 4.0 is the ultimate modern times' Porsche... The real modern equivalent of the 2.7l Carrera RS. And there are only 600 of them... But well to be fair i think the Ultimate Porsche will either be the 997 GT2 RS, the 2.7l Carrera RS, or the 991.2 911R.
