  2. I have witnessed the sea fog off lindisfarne myself, as it came over the waves and hit the land at Ross beach. It was so thick it was like you could walk into it then walk back out of it. No joke. And you can’t see a hand in front of you when it comes over you. 👍🇬🇧

  3. I think it’s worth pointing out that it was the now ruined PRIORY that was the site of the raid rather than the castle which sits atop the mound at the southern end of the island.
